Discussion about IFG controlling the routing of PCC information to either vmPFC or aACC really tenuous. There are lots of reasons that the various areas may be correlated or not correlated, at times when IFG is either activated or not activated, beyond those variables that study intended control. e.g. cognitive load, strategy immediately chosen, ...

When player enters risk-bonus regime or safety-bonus regime, more is changing than just behavior - for example cognitive demands are lower when either riskiness or safety is unambiguously right. Seems like a confound for the fMRI activation.
